Camp Description
SESSION TWO (JULY 17 - 21) IS NOW SOLD OUT!
Introduce your child to a lifelong love of music and visual art with this fun-filled day camp for our youngest creatives.
Our Discovering Music+Art Camp for Kids is a great way to introduce your elementary student to all that music and visual art have to offer. Ignite their creativity and strengthen academic skills with a wide variety of fun activities, including singing, percussion, introduction to musical instruments, painting, collage, collaborative 3D projects, and more.
Each day we will enjoy open recreation time with games and integrative S.T.E.A.M. activities, so your budding artist will experience all the advantages that the arts have to offer. Families can share in the fun at the Camp Showcase, held on the final afternoon of each session.
All are welcome and there's no experience necessary to join in the fun! This camp experience will start kids off on a creative journey in music and art that will last a lifetime.
SAMPLE DAY SCHEDULE
8:45 a.m. - Gathering Time
9:30 a.m. - Guided Visual Art Activity
10:30 a.m. - Snack
10:45 a.m. - Music Activity Time
11:30 a.m. - Lunch
12:15 p.m. - Group Art Project
1 p.m. - Music Activity Time
2 p.m. - Recess
2:30 p.m. - Visual Art Activity
3:15 p.m. - Game Time
3:40 p.m. - Wrap-Up/Review and Clean-Up
4 p.m. - Student Pick-up
END OF CAMP MINI-CONCERT
The students will showcase what they have learned and created this week in a mini-concert on the last day of camp. The showcase will begin at 3 p.m. More information will be sent out the week of the camp.
