Middle School Band 101 Camp
Camp Description
Interested in learning a band instrument but not sure where to start? Want to get your feet wet before signing up for a whole year of school band? This camp is perfect for you! Running the same week as our Band Camp, this Band 101 Camp is designed for rising 6th-8th graders who are interested in learning an instrument for the first time.
In this week-long camp, we'll learn the basics of our instruments, how to take care of them, starting techniques, and the basics of reading sheet music. Campers can choose from flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and percussion. This camp is perfect for students looking to get started successfully on a new musical journey.
Already been playing your instrument for at least a year? Go to our Band Camp page to sign up for the full band experience!
