Calling all young singers! The Charlotte Youth Choir is excited to launch our summer camp, open to both current CYC singers and any aspiring singers in Grades 2-6. The camp will feature multiple choirs, allowing campers to learn and grow with singers at their same age and skill level.

The Charlotte Youth Choir Camp will combine the fun of singing with games, activities, and community. Through rehearsals, private voice lessons, special topics, and interactive music activities, campers will grow as singers and make musical memories. The camp will conclude with a special concert on Friday afternoon to show off everything our young singers have learned.

PREREQUISITES

None! Open to singers not already in Charlotte Youth Choir as well as current CYC choristers!

END OF CAMP CONCERT

The students will showcase what they have learned and created this week in a mini-concert at 3 p.m. on the last day of camp.

FINANCIAL AID

• Limited financial aid is available to qualifying families, processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

• Monday Drop-Off and Registration need to have a parent/guardian come inside to fully check campers in. Friday Pick-Up will be after the student showcases, inside.
• Due to our location of camp on the campus, parents/guardians should park and walk to the Youth Building for drop-off and pick-up each day. We apologize for any inconvenience.

LUNCH, SNACKS, AND WATER BOTTLES

• Monday-Friday: Campers should bring their own lunch and a water bottle to camp.
• Snacks and snack breaks will be provided during the daytime.
• Our snacks include gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options.
• Campers may also bring their own snacks, but please do not bring ANY food products with peanuts.

ALLERGIES, MEDICINES, AND SPECIAL NEEDS

Please reach out to Arts+ staff in advance to let us know about allergies, medicines, or other special needs your camper may have. We will do our best to accommodate as we are able!
