Band Camp
Camp Description
The Arts+ Band Camp has been a staple in the Charlotte region for over two decades. Students in grades 6-12 will perform alongside and under the direction of the finest conductors and instructors from across Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Enjoy a week of bands, combos, improvisation, games, and master classes.
Green and Blue Bands are open to players in grades 6-12 who already have one year of experience. These campers will also experience special sessions on interesting topics including jazz, chamber music, improvisation, master classes, and theory.
Middle School Band 101 Camp is designed for 6th-8th graders who have never played a band instrument before or are wanting to change instruments. These campers will spend the week learning all of the fundamentals needed to successfully start a new musical journey, including playing technique, instrument care, and the basics of reading sheet music. Campers can choose between flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, or beginning percussion. Click here to go to the Band 101 registration page.
Camps will finish with a concert on Friday afternoon that is free and open to the public. Come join us to make some amazing music together!
