Throughout this week-long afternoon camp experience, students will explore a wide range of printmaking techniques including Gelli plates, kitchen lithography, linoleum blocks, and screen printing. Students will be able to create their own designs, create print plates, and make their series of prints in a variety of mediums. This overview of printmaking methods is excellent for those looking to expand their art skills, learn art trade techniques, or create their own imagery for textiles and product design. 

All are welcome, and there's no experience necessary to join in on the fun! This camp will give students a broad knowledge of printmaking techniques using professional tools and techniques.

END OF CAMP ART SHOW 

The students will showcase what they have learned and created this week in a pop-up gallery show at 4 p.m. on the last day of camp.  

FINANCIAL AID 

• Limited financial aid is available to qualifying families, processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP 

• Monday Drop-Off and Registration need to have a parent/guardian come inside to fully check campers in. Friday Pick-Up will be after the student showcase, inside. 
• Ascend Nonprofit Solutions (601 E 5th St, Suite 230): Other than Registration and Friday’s showcase, drop-off and pick-up does not require the parent to walk their student in.  
• Parking can be accessed via the lot on 5th street (which is a one way street) just past the front entrance of the building. The lot can also be accessed on N Alexander St. The arm for the parking lot will raise as you enter. Parking is free and you do not need a code to enter or exit. If the lot is full, parking can be found on the surrounding streets at meters.
  When you enter the building, please sign in at the front desk using the iPads and enter ArtsPlus (Arts+) as the organization you are visiting. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and make an immediate left.
  When you leave, please sign out at the front on the iPads. If you are parked in the parking lot, simply go to the gate and press the green exit button.
