Youth Art Camp: Around the World


Camp Description

Explore the cultures and art techniques of different countries and people around the world in this exciting and eye-opening camp!

From Japanese shibori dyeing to Aboriginal dot paintings, students will learn about different cultures and art styles throughout this week-long camp. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy many different art mediums and styles or are interested in learning about the broad world around us. Come explore the variety and creativity of worldwide artists in our exploratory camp!

During this camp, students will be escorted two blocks and cross two streets to have time each afternoon at First Ward Park. Two instructors will be present during this outdoor time and will escort students back to Spirit Square for pick-up at the end of camp each day.

The safety of your camper, along with our faculty and staff, is of utmost importance as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Arts+ is dedicated to following CDC guidelines and recommendations of local health organizations. This includes required mask-wearing for all camp participants, temperature checks upon arrival, social distancing, small-group activities, well-ventilated indoor spaces, and frequent sanitizing of hands and surfaces.
