[Closed] Discovering Ukulele Camp

Camp Description

The Arts+ Discovering Ukulele Camp is the perfect introduction for students interested in learning this fun instrument! This is the perfect camp for new students or students with minimal experience. 

  • Introduction to Ukulele and Note-Reading
  • Small Group Lessons
  • Music Games and FUNdamentals
  • Parent Discussion Group

SAMPLE SCHEDULE - MAY VARY BY DAY
Small Group Lessons - 9:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m. Your choice!
Large Group Activity Time - 12:00 p.m.

PREREQUISITES
None! Open to students with no ukulele experience.

INSTRUMENTS
We encourage our students to have their own soprano ukulele. Arts+ has ukuleles that students may rent.

Ukulele Rental - $20 rental fee ($60 deposit. $40 will be refunded upon return of undamaged instrument.)
For camp June 22-26 - Pick up at The Bridge on June 20. Drop-off at The Bridge on June 27.
For camp July 13-17 - Pick up at The Bridge on July 11. Drop-off at The Bridge on July 19.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
- Laptop or tablet with the Zoom app downloaded.
- Device with a microphone and video camera that can record such as a cell phone.

LEVEL OF PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
Parents need to be available to assist.

AVERAGE DAILY SCREEN TIME
2 to 2 1/2 hours

FINANCIAL AID
