Private Lessons NEW

Drums

The pulse. The driving rhythm. The backbone of the band. The drumset and percussion are vital to the energy and success of any band. Our Arts+ faculty will teach you how to shine as a soloist as well as provide that foundational rhythm that any group needs.

Class Description

Through individualized instruction, our students master the basics of how to keep a steady and driving pulse, then learn how to creatively fill that out into a richer and fuller sound.  No matter your experience level, we will teach you how to become the best you can be ⎼ whether you’re just starting out or you’ve already mastered that paradiddle.

Our drumset students are part of our Rock+Blues Program, so you’ll get opportunities to perform in gigs all around the city.  You’ll get out of the studio and learn what it means to be a performer by doing real performances in real venues.

Whatever your style and passion, we have a teacher for you:

  • Jazz
  • Pop
  • Rock
  • Indie/Alternative
  • Blues
  • And More!
