Want to teach with Arts+?

Arts+ is always looking for inspiring musicians and educators to join our faculty.

We are fortunate to boast one of the largest private lessons programs in the state, thanks to the high quality of our faculty. We are proud to have instructors with all kinds of backgrounds and skills helping us to provide a well-rounded and robust music education network for the Charlotte area.

Applications for new teachers are accepted at any time throughout the year. Our faculty all have degrees in music or comparable performance experience as well as a passion for teaching with energy, excellence, and creativity.

Benefits of Working with Arts+

  • Flexible scheduling: Set your own schedule, whether it’s one day per week or every day.
  • Locations: Studios are all over Charlotte, and you can teach in more than one to reach students in many different areas. You’re also able to use the studios as your own practice space (as available).
  • Student payments: We handle all student registrations and payments so you don’t have to.
  • Marketing: The power of Arts+ social media and marketing drives new student enrollment so we can fill out your studio.
  • Recitals/Gigs: Student recitals and gigs are arranged for you by Arts+ staff, complete with accompanist.
  • Missed Lessons: If a student misses a lesson, Arts+ policy still guarantees that you get paid.
  • Discounts: Family members receive discounts to Arts+ lessons, classes, and camps.
  • Part-Time Status: If you reach 25 hr/wk there is opportunity to move from contract faculty to part-time staff, bringing with it additional perks.
  • Service: Be proud that you’re working for an organization that gives back to the community. A large number of our private lessons students are receiving financial aid so they can afford to take lessons.
