Workshop Description

"I don't know anything about the guitar..." Perfect! Come join us for our IDK Workshop Series, learning the basics of the guitar.

Summer Session: July 15 to Aug 5.
Each week is a new artist!

Sign up for one, sign up for as many as you'd like, or sign up for all four in our summer session for the price of three!

If it is your ABSOLUTE first time playing, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early.

Absolutely zero experience is required, but experienced players and friends are welcome to join, too! Each week we’ll be learning favorite songs by well-known musicians and have fun jamming out together. We'll teach the basics of how to produce a great sound, some fundamental strumming patterns, and the first few starter chords. By the end of this workshop, you'll have learned to play a couple new songs and be able to enjoy playing on your own.

None!

INSTRUMENTS

If you do not have your own, Arts+ instruments are provided for use during this class but may not be taken home. Please contact us if you would like information on where to rent your own instrument.

BYOB

This class is optional BYOB (alcoholic beverages) for attendees 21+ with proof of identification.
