This 4-week class for grades K-5 will explore the works of Vincent Van Gogh through a variety of materials and imagery. Students will draw dazzling stars in their own Starry Night, make beautiful bouquets of Sunflowers, depict their bedroom in ode to Bedroom in Arle, and make silly Self Portraits with wiggly lines.

No experience is required for our Discovering classes, and we encourage a willingness to try new things and make mistakes. By the end of the class, students will have confidence in creating their own art, talking about the art they’ve made and art created by others, and be willing to try new things in the creative process!

PREREQUISITES

None!

Students with some experience can also take this class, and we will tailor the projects to be individualized for their level.
