"I don't know anything about the ukulele..." Perfect! Come join us for our Ukulele 101 class, learning the basics of the ukulele.     

Absolutely zero experience is required, but experienced players and friends are welcome to join, too! Each week we’ll be learning favorite songs by well-known musicians and have fun jamming out together. We'll teach the basics of how to produce a great sound, some fundamental strumming patterns, and the first few starter chords. By the end of this class, you'll have learned a few new songs and be able to enjoy playing on your own.   

PREREQUISITES 

• None!  
• If it is your ABSOLUTE first time playing, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early the first week. 

INSTRUMENTS  

If you do not have your own, Arts+ instruments are provided for use during this class but may not be taken home. Please contact the Arts+ Registration team at registration@artsplus.org if you would like information on where to rent your own instrument.   

BYOB 

This class is optional BYOB (alcoholic beverages) for attendees 21+ with proof of identification.
