Project Harmony Instrument Drive
Project Harmony, a free, community-based orchestra outreach program for students in grades 3-5, needs your help! The 2026-27 program begins on Sept. 30, but we are still working to make sure every student has the instrument they need to participate.
Please consider donating a new or lightly used flute, clarinet, or trumpet or help us purchase the instruments our students need by making a gift online.
About Project Harmony
Project Harmony is a free, community-based orchestra outreach program for students in grades 3-5.
For ten years, Project Harmony has brought students together twice a week for 90-minute classes where they build a community around making music, learn from professional teachers and collegiate music interns, and develop the confidence to become mentors and leaders for their peers.
Students discover an instrument, make new friends, and experience the joy of creating music together, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
In order for Arts+ students to unlock the joy of music, they need instruments!
How To Support
The 2026-27 Project Harmony program begins on Sept. 30, but we are still working to make sure every student has the instrument they need to participate.
As of Sept. 4, we need:
- 4 Flutes
- 11 Clarinets
- 7 Trumpets
Your donation of a new or lightly used flute, clarinet, or trumpet can put an instrument directly into the hands of a young musician, helping to ensure that every student who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so.

Please consider donating a new or lightly used flute, clarinet, or trumpet before Project Harmony begins on Sept. 30.
If you have an instrument you’d like to donate, please contact Project Harmony Coordinator Yesenia Castrejon at projectharmony@artsplus.org to arrange for drop-off or pickup. Alternatively, you can drop off your instrument donation at our free Fall Festival on Sept. 19 from 1-4 p.m. at the Arts+ Community Campus at 2304 The Plaza.
