Private Lessons
Suzuki Harp Lessons
Class Description
The Suzuki Method
The Suzuki approach to music is based on the philosophy that young children can learn to play a musical instrument the same way they learn to speak their native language — through listening, repetition, encouragement, and parental involvement. The parent, child, and teacher form the “Suzuki Triangle” to create a long-term, collaborative learning experience.
With Suzuki instruction, a comprehensive learning experience is created with the weekly individual lesson at the heart of the Suzuki program. In addition to weekly lessons, tuition includes regular group lessons, Suzuki recitals each semester, special events/workshops, and the opportunity to participate in chamber ensembles and outreach performances.
Suzuki @ Arts+
All lessons are taught by Suzuki instructors registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Students in the Arts+ Suzuki program are required to have a parent or caregiver attend lessons because parents are an integral part of the Suzuki experience.
Our weekly group lessons are an important part of student learning and growth. In group lessons, students will review music vocabulary, refine playing techniques, work and play together as an ensemble, develop leadership skills, and have a good time!
The Suzuki program has many fun events, performances, and classes planned during the school year! Our fall schedule will be posted soon.
