In this sampler-style class, our 3rd-6th graders will have the opportunity to spend quality time trying out a variety of different instruments and music activities. Each week will be a new instrument focus: Piano, Guitar, Strings, Winds, and Digital Music Production (exact week of each instrument to be determined). The goal of this class is to provide students with a small group setting to try out a variety of different instruments, in order to see if they may be interested in exploring these instruments more in private lessons, band, or orchestra. This class encourages curiosity and creativity while laying the groundwork for future musical study.
