Junior Orchestra Camp

Do you dream of joining an orchestra for the first time? This is the camp for you!

Camp Description

Camp is already over for 2020, but we can't wait to see you for Summer 2021.

Designed for growing students who have little to no experience playing in an orchestra or ensemble, this camp will dive into the world of string ensemble playing and take students to the next level as young musicians. Our camp is an introduction to orchestra music and note reading to challenge us to be the best players we can be!

  • Small Group Chamber Classes
  • Surprise Electives: You never know what we will get up to in our surprise elective class! We could be learning to dance a gavotte, exploring body percussion or centering our musical selves with mindful movement.
  • Music Games and FUNdamentals
  • Guest Artist Talks featuring musicians from across the nation
  • Virtual Orchestra Compilation Project
