Leave a Legacy Through Arts+

Back to News

August is National Make-A-Will Month—a timely reminder to put your wishes in writing and consider the legacy you want to leave behind.

For Arts+ supporters, creating or updating a will can also be an opportunity to ensure that outstanding and accessible arts education continues for generations to come. By including Arts+ in your estate plans, you can make a meaningful future gift without affecting your current financial priorities. Planned gifts can take many forms, including a bequest in your will, naming Arts+ as a beneficiary of retirement assets, or designating Arts+ as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.

When you include Arts+ in your estate plans, you become a member of the Bridges Society, named in honor of our founder Henry Bridges. Bridges Society members help carry forward Henry’s vision of making the arts accessible to everyone and ensure that his legacy—and the impact of arts education—continues well into the future.

Planned giving is a personal decision, and there are many ways to create a lasting impact. We encourage you to talk with your attorney or financial advisor about what may be right for you.

This August, consider taking the simple step of creating or updating your will—and consider including Arts+ in your plans. Your legacy can help ensure that creativity, confidence, and opportunity remain accessible to students and families for years to come.
