Arts+ Welcomes New Board Members

Arts+ is excited to welcome three new members to our board this year:

friday jones is the founder of friday’s dope llc, an arts, media, and entertainment company, and has served on various arts committees, including the Arts+ Program Committee. friday graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in sociology and psychology in 2009. She loves making music and memories with her family.

Mark Mealy graduated from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and worked in investment and advisement for companies including Colville Group and First Union Bank. A former board member and board chair from the 2000s, Mark has a long history with Arts+. Mark and his wife, Posey, have three married children and a growing number of grandchildren.

Marshall Williamson is a native Charlottean who graduated from the University of Georgia and currently works for Lincoln Harris as Senior Vice President, Brokerage Services. Marshall assisted Arts+ in our search for a permanent location. Marshall and his wife, Andrea, have three children in their 20s and two dogs.

Additionally, Arts+ thanks Nick Anderson and Lindsey Smith for their service on the Arts+ board. We are grateful for their contributions and will miss them.
