Director of Music Programs Wes Smith stopped by WCNC last week to share all about a new program Arts+ is offering: Birthday Celebrations. Wes and Charlotte Today co-host Mia Atkins explored bookmaking, one of the five birthday celebration activities available. They also discussed the other options, jewelrymaking, printmaking, ukulele, and karaoke, and covered the benefits of an arts-themed celebration, including independent thinking and creative self-expression.
