Concert Choir is our select performing choir for 7th grade and up. These singers are active performers throughout the Charlotte area with community events, special concerts, and collaborations. Concert Choir singers perform challenging and diverse music that showcases what our students are truly capable of achieving. Our singers focus on confident singing, healthy vocal development, and creating meaningful performance experiences.

No prior experience or musical know-how is required, but our rehearsals do move at a quick pace – so come ready to learn!

You can register for either the full year OR for just a single Concert Session. We understand that there are lots of student activities, so if you are only available for one or two concerts, we hope this gives the flexibility to join convenient to your schedule! Full-year registrations have a discounted cost compared to per-concert registrations as a special benefit!

Full-Year Registrations: Sept. 22 - May 18
Fall & Holiday Concert Session Registrations: Sept. 22 - Dec. 19
Winter Session Registrations: Jan. 5 - March 2
Spring Session Registrations: March 9 - May 18

REHEARSAL TIME

Concert Choir rehearses on Mondays from 6:30-8 p.m. PLUS, starting this fall, the Charlotte Youth Choir is offering FREE early drop-off for singers beginning at 4 p.m. on Mondays! Drop off your singer at the Arts+ Community Campus starting at 4 p.m. for homework time, games, and outdoor recess before their rehearsal begins. Choir Rehearsals will then begin at 5 p.m. (1st-3rd grade), 5:45 p.m. (4th-6th grade), or 6:30 p.m. (7th-12th grade). We hope this free early drop-off time makes Monday evenings a little easier for your busy schedule!
