Join The Bridges Society, Like Allison Jett

“My 3-year-old tells me that music makes him happy,” says Allison Jett, a planned giving donor of Arts+. Art has been a foundational component of her life from a young age. “I grew up with a number of music experiences that shaped me, and I now love seeing my oldest child connect to something that makes me happy, too.”

At Arts+, we know that a quality arts education enriches lives, cultivates essential skills, brightens futures, and builds community. With your support, we are able to provide accessible music and visual arts instruction to Charlotte, bringing creativity into the lives of thousands of students annually.

“With experience volunteering with and donating to nonprofits, I knew that planned gifts are often a forgotten way of supporting an organization but that their significance is very meaningful," Allison says. "I wanted to help make a long-term impact at Arts+, so I saw no reason to wait in setting up a planned gift.”

People of all backgrounds can find themselves in music and art, and Arts+ helps ensure that everyone can take part. - Allison Jett

Planned giving donors like Allison are part of The Bridges Society, named in honor of Henry Bridges, our founder. Henry dedicated his life to promoting creative learning and providing opportunities in music and art for children, regardless of their background.

As Allison says, “Arts+ is an important resource for the entire Charlotte community — both those that have access and those that need it. People of all backgrounds can find themselves in music and art, and Arts+ helps ensure that everyone can take part in programs to help nurture their passions and talents.”

Both Henry and Allison have helped make an impact in the lives of emerging artists and musicians by including Arts+ in their estate plans. If the arts impact your life, learn more about The Bridges Society and ensure your legacy by securing your planned gift to support the future of the arts community.
