Spring Fling Recycle Thing

Your junk can be your treasure! Come celebrate Earth Day with us by recycling and reusing as we upcycle forgotten and broken household items into one of a kind art!

Workshop Description

Join Arts+ for this exciting spring family workshop using your old housewares as material for bold new art projects! Clean out the garage and the attic and bring your unwanted items (lamps, ceramics, fabrics, pots and pans -- basically anything that could comfortably fit on a coffee table...) to our studio space, The Bridge. Families will work with our teaching artists to rethink and reassemble these materials into assemblage art and funky found object sculptures. Using light power tools, paint, hot glue and various hardware fasteners we will learn to repurpose and recycle creatively, all while making fun family memories.
