Workshops

In this 3 hour, in-person workshop, we will be anything but still! Participants will work from colorful, pattern-filled still lifes to create multiple quick and light gestural paintings. This workshop will explore how giving ourselves parameters of time and exploring gesture with mark-making, can help us work through spatial and compositional issues in painting. This workshop is intended for artists of every level. Whether you are a seasoned painter struggling with compositional issues in your work, or you’ve never picked up a paintbrush, this workshop is for you. Participants will leave the workshop with several, colorful and energetic paintings in a variety of media.
