Class Description
This class is designed for rising 8th & 9th graders who may be approaching singing for the first time or who want to learn techniques to ensure proper technique when singing or speaking. We will have opportunities to work one-on-one (virtually) and some virtual group activities as we explore the music that the participants have already written and songs that we already love!

- Stage presence and confidence
- Engaging the audience
- Interviewing (introductions and talking about your craft)
- Basic music theory
Technology Requirements:
- Laptop or tablet with Zoom app downloaded
- Device with a microphone and video camera that can record (such as a cell phone).
EFFECTIVE MONDAY, MARCH 7, 2022:
- Mask-wearing is optional for Arts+ students and faculty (both indoor and outdoor).
- Though Arts+ is not requiring masks, it is important to note that if any partner site continues to require masks, Arts+ will follow these guidelines and enforce the same for our students, staff, and faculty at this location. We will be sure to communicate with you if the site of your program will continue to require mask-wearing.
- Arts+ reserves the right to update this policy on a case-by-case basis when deemed necessary.
- If you are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms or have been recently exposed to anyone who has Covid-19, please stay home from your program that day.
