Outreach Programs

School Ready with Art is an outreach program designed to integrate the arts into core preschool curriculum. Through the program, Arts+ faculty bring arts-integrated lessons into preschool classrooms serving students with demonstrated educational and, often, financial need. Additionally, participating teachers receive professional development taught by Arts+ faculty on techniques and strategies to integrate the arts into their lesson plans. The program currently works in four Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools with Bright Beginnings Pre-Kindergarten programs.
