Financial Aid

Our mission at Arts+ is to make sure outstanding arts education is available to every member of the community, regardless of socioeconomic background. Our financial aid program helps make this possible.

Program Description

At Arts+, we take pride in making the arts accessible to all. Through our financial aid program, roughly 100 students each year receive financial assistance to participate in any of our paid programs, including private lessons, group classes, summer camps and the Charlotte Children’s Choir. Families apply for this assistance annually, and through a stringent and well-documented qualification process, the School grants aid. These awards include both fall and spring semesters, plus summer lessons or camps, and range in amount from 10 percent to 90 percent of tuition. Once awarded financial aid, a student is guaranteed continued assistance for all future years as long as their family’s financial condition remains the same, relieving anxiety about future lesson costs. In addition to need-based aid, Arts+ also offers a number of Merit Scholarships for private music students. To learn more, visit here: Merit Scholars
