Have you ever thought of using the same techniques to create one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and decor for your home? What about learning techniques to upcycle jewelry or pieces you already have at home, instead of throwing them in a landfill? If so, then we welcome you to come find creative new ways to see objects and refresh them or find a new function for them!

In this 6-week workshop series, we will experiment with creating and upcycling jewelry and decor pieces using fabric, paint, wood, metal, glass, and additional materials with special techniques. We will embark on 4 different projects including: jewelry, a hanging entryway piece for your necessities OR a hanging jewelry holder, a picture or poster frame, and a piece of your choice that you want to upcycle such as an old wooden chair or small side table you want to give new life. All supplies are included!

Meet the instructor! Kim Turner

Kimberly Turner is a jewelry designer, visual artist, creative director, and educator/educational consultant. She designs unique pieces of jewelry and art and uses them to tell stories for Elizabeth In Pearls, her business named after her grandmothers, Elizabeth and Pearl.
