Exploring Violin

Class Description
Our Exploring Violin class for grades 3-5 is the perfect class for young students to explore and learn all about this beloved instrument. This 6-week class provides a fun introduction to the violin. Students will learn the parts of the instrument, how to care for a string instrument, and how to hold the instrument and bow. This class will build a solid foundation for future string studies and include other fun music, movement, and listening games.
Come discover the joy of beginning violin as a community, with other young musicians! The final class will be a mini-concert for our family and friends!
This class series is designed for a caregiver to participate in the first and last day of class alongside the child. We love for caregivers to be involved, and this participation will give them an overview of the class and let them see how much students have learned by the last session!
