Scholarships

Arts plus scholarships.

Arts+ offers a variety of scholarships for outstanding students in our private lesson division. Scholarships are awarded based on merit and determined by external and independent professional music educators. Scholarships are awarded to young children through high school students based on the recommendations of the adjudicators.

Audition for a Scholarship

Our scholarship auditions take place each March for the following school year. For Arts+ music students, Merit Scholarship applications are due to the Director of Music Programs in February. The application will be available starting in December or January and will be updated here as well as emailed to all current lessons families.

The audition is one selection of the student's choice and should not exceed five minutes. An accompanist is provided if needed with a 20-minute rehearsal time allotted for the week leading up to the audition. Students will need to provide an unmarked copy of the sheet music for the judges. Please see your instructor for more details, or reach out to Wes Smith, Director of Music Programs, at wsmith@artsplus.org.
