Olivia Horton

Olivia Horton earned her Bachelor of Music Business degree and Certificate of Piano Pedagogy from Indiana State University where she studied with Beverly Simms and Janet Palmberg. She enjoyed working for some of the most respected arts organizations in the Midwest including the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Sweetwater Sound and Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne. Olivia is a member of the Music Teachers National Association, National Guild of Piano teachers and founder of the Fort Wayne Women’s Art Coalition. After moving to Charlotte with her husband, Andrew, and two cats Clementine and Claude (affectionately named after Claude Debussy), she has been working fulltime in the Arts+ office as the Communications and Operations Coordinator, in addition to teaching piano lessons. When Olivia isn’t teaching or working, she enjoys live music, trying new foods, watching BBC television shows, making music with her husband, and talking to her adventurous brothers and sisters over the phone.
