Shamon Scull

Born in Topeka, Kansas, Shamon first discovered his love for music at the age of 3, while he was singing in the Sunshine Band Choir. As time progressed, Shamon’s love for singing gave way to a love of rhythm, leading him to the Drums and so beginning an amazing journey. His love for gospel music started as a child, and through playing gosepl music his talents and skills developed and he found passion, consistency and joy. His heart, mind and ear love playing gospel music, and over the years other genres such as jazz, rock and R&B.

Shamon began touring as a 16 year old with the gospel legend John P. Kee. Since then, many doors have opened for Shamon to expand and strengthen his talent with other mainstream artists and musicians across many genres. This includes artists such as Marcus Johnson, Alex Bugdon, Mike Phillips, Calvin Richardson, Lenny Williams, The New Familiars, Sy Smith and Brian Lenair.

Currently, Shamon is focused on sharing his talents and growth by teaching and working with others in the community and the music industry. His rising influence and leadership is humbled by his commitment to gain and share knowledge with others. Shamon continues to be the rising and leading talent in today’s field of musicians.
