Erin High

Erin High is a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art’s LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting (MFA) and Appalachian State University (BFA). Erin’s painting practice explores an interest in personal landscapes and private, sentimental spaces. Her teaching career began at MICA, where she worked as a teaching assistant for drawing, painting, and freshman visual thinking courses. In 2015, she became MICA’s Graduate Admission Counselor, guiding prospective graduate students through the application and portfolio process. Upon returning to Charlotte, Erin worked for Union County Public Schools as a Middle School Art Teacher.
